After spending years seeing people asking for local services and businesses on Facebook, especially on EssexK and calling our office to ask for phone numbers of local community serving businesses, we at Chabad Buckhurst Hill decided to take the initiative and launch the Essex Jewish Business Directory. It is simply an online forum for either Jewish owned businesses, or those looking to serve and market to the local community, to post their listings in one central place so that anyone can look up details easily and find what they are looking for.
